  • About Catworth

This pleasant and quiet village with its winding streets and varied architecture stands on a hill south of the A14 in the western part of the District and is surrounded by farmland.  Its 13th Century church, St. Leonards, has an octagonal spire and contains a monument to Rose Dryden, sister of the poet.  Catworth features a village hall, a large playing field with football and cricket pitches, a thriving shop and a garage.  Two nurseries grow and sell vegetables, fruit and flowers.  Catworth has one public house, The Racehorse Inn with large dining room and car park.
